For small repairs or membrane work, yes—you can usually stay in. But for a full metal roof replacement or bigger jobs, it’s noisy, dusty, and there’s scaffolding around, so most people prefer to crash somewhere else for a few nights. We’ll always work safely, but it’s your call on comfort.
